Dribble Drive Motion Offense - 1 on 1 with Hole Man

This drill is great to develop the attacking mindset and find out who is your toughest players.

Rules:

Player can throw it to coach once for each possesion with the ball if they cannot score off the first 2 dribbles. If they pass it again on that possesion its a turnover.

If you score hole man goes to defense, defender goes to end of line. If you miss a shot defender becomes offense and the hole man stays until there is a score.

Play to 8.

Here is one they used against UConn and Washington. The play resulted in a couple of different options once for a layup off the back pick and the other an isolation for penetrating layup off the dribble.

Tyreke Evans - King of the Layup

Tyreke Evans played in the Dribble Drive Motion Offense for John Calipari at Memphis now you can see how he has taken his skills to the NBA. He learned the Euro Step (Ginobli Move) in college and that has become his go to move in the NBA.

This is a great video on Tyreke Evans using the Euro Step (Ginobli move) and other moves to basket with different types of finishes. The key is to watch Tyreke he is almost always attacking the rim with North South straight line drives. If you are going north south you win if you drive east west then the defense wins.
